Third Annual Books & Bytes Benefit
The Library and the Friends of the Redford Township Library present the third annual Books & Bytes Benefit, Friday, May 19th, from 6-9 p.m. With the theme of “Building a Better Community”, the night promises to be memorable for you and your guests. Enjoy food, a cash bar, live and silent auctions, fabulous entertainment, and the magical ambiance of the Library. Special guest and author of Detroit Hustle: A Memoir of Love, Life & Home, Amy Haimerl, will discuss her experience of renovating a home in Detroit and guests will mingle after hours within the library. This unique setting will fill with guests from our community enjoying food, drink and laughter, all in support of programming at the Library. Tickets are priced at $25, and include food, one drink ticket, and access to the event. Highlighting the evening will be live and silent auctions, a photo booth, great music, and other fun surprises to entertain and excite. Space limited to 200 guests. Our ambitious yet attainable goal for the Benefit is to raise $20,000 to support programming at the Library. Proceeds will fund regular activities for kids, teens and adults. The Library’s vibrant learning environment imparts critical life skills that helps all ages. Enjoy a fabulous gala event and help build a better community.
