A celebration of the arts, will feature a Michigan-focused fine art and craft market, artist demonstrations, a locally-sourced specialty Culinary Arts ‘Michigan Makers’ tent, live music all day from a selection of Michigan performers, special children’s activities hosted by Walled Lake Preschool Program, HVCA’s face painting both days, storytellers from North Oakland County Storytellers on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. and a special DIA Children’s booth on Sunday from 1-3 p.m.

Huron Valley Arts Festival artists are juried; they represent unique fine artists and fine crafters from around Michigan and beyond, including ‘The Art Shop’ artists who maintain a gallery of fine art available year-round at HVCA. Music will be provided by Spoonful Blues Band, Mia Green, Matt Fig & The Disappointments, and Chris James; these musicians as well as Fuse Theatre Company will be featured on the Oakland County Stage near the food trucks.

Huron Valley Woodturners, Black Sheep Weavers Fiber Guild, and Village Fine Arts Association (VFAA) will give artist demonstrations; in addition, booths representing community groups like Commerce Friends of Byers and Milford Historical Society will be present.
